Singer/songwriter/producer Hannah von der Hoff is recording & performing artist 'Holy Hannah!' She conjures the greatest rock, jazz, r&b/soul, and folk artists of all time, evoking songs that remind us authentic, organic music is still alive and well. Her debut album is triumphant as it is vulnerable, provocative as it is introspective. Her upcoming releases explore the rawness of existential quandary, epiphany, desire, heartbreak, and all things human nature. Hailing from Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA, Hannah was immersed in the musicality of her family and hometown since the womb. She takes her greatest influence from classic artists and channels them through her own unique creative lense that has left audiences commenting on reminiscence of Janice, Jimi, Zeppelin, Bonnie Raitt, Etta James, Jeff Buckley, Chrissie Hynde and Florence & The Machine... A songwriter of over 30 years, Hannah felt compelled to teach herself guitar as a young teen. Since then she has been cutting her teeth as a dynamic performer on stages across the USA & the Globe... A road-dog for many years, she got her formative miles of tour life under her belt as a backup singer alongside the likes of Lizzo, Ayo Awosika and others, supporting artist Your Smith (Caroline Smith). Simultaneously pursuing her solo career, it became high time she shift her focus into recording her debut album. After test-drivingan analog studio with her first single 'Time Machine', in Jan 2018, she tracked 14 songs live to tape with her trio at the time. Two years of love, blood, sweat and tears in the coffee-bean bag covered basement walls of Brown Bag Studios in Minneapolis , she produced and co-mixed/edited her debut album with engineer Tony Schriener, mastered by Grammy-award winning Tom Garneau of Audioactive.
